The Intelligence and National Security Alliance is commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the National Security Act of 1947 and the creation of our nation's modern intelligence and national security establishments with a series of events during the week of September 17th-20th. With a diverse set of partners throughout Washington DC, INSA will mark the 60th Anniversary of the creation of the Department of Defense, Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency and a reorganization of U.S. defense and foreign policy in the days leading into the Cold War with wide-ranging events and discussions on the Act's achievements and the future of national security and intelligence in this country. Registration is free for most of the events.
